We have significant experience in dealing with the range of issues that can arise in the areas of Wills, Probate & Trust Law. It is true that with experience there often comes an increase in legal fees. However, we understand that the issue of fees can be overwhelming and worrying when you need to instruct a solicitor. That is why we keep a keen eye on costs. After all, we don’t want to pay more than we have to for anything, and we don’t think you should either.
We understand that when someone has died or there are capacity problems with a relative, you don’t want to worry about money any more than absolutely necessary. That’s why we offer fixed fees for services including:
- Grant of Probate Applications
- Drafting Estate Accounts
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- General Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection applications
- Trust Deeds
We support you in doing as much for yourself as possible so that you can remain in control if you wish and in turn keep your costs down. Getting the right advice from us can give you the confidence to do this as you may only need to see us once.
However, if you need more help and support, or need to go to court, we will provide a straightforward cost estimate to let you know what we expect your costs to be.
We like to meet our clients face to face where possible, so we can gain a true understanding of their needs. However, we understand that just like us our clients are busy people and are not always available between 9-5. That’s why we are able to offer call conferencing, video meetings, or, in some circumstances, out of hour’s appointments by prior arrangement and agreement to an enhanced fee for the same.
As you would expect, we aim to give our clients the best possible advice and service. But we never forget that it is crucial to deliver that advice in plain English. We avoid legal jargon wherever possible and on occasions when we must use it, it will be explained to you in plain English.
